Developmental Work 1 - Around the Home

SLOW EXPOSURE WORK
I took a tripod around the art room at school and experimented with slow exposures.
These are the images I took, which show the difference of high and low exposures.

I then took a tripod home and experimented further with slow exposures to create more warm lighting to exaggerate my project of 'home' and the comfort that it brings.

Objectively, this image shows an orange/brown coloured blind, with the cord moving from side to side. The horizontal lines fill the image, with one vertical line in the first third of the image. I decided to experiment with movement, as subjectively, the home can be a busy place, where families rush about to get ready for the day ahead. I think the movement can show that things can get hectic in the mundane, day-to-day life.

I also decided to do natural and posed family shoots, to show the daily life of home:

I took more images of random items around the house, to show that a home is very personal, and where you store all your belongings. I wanted this shoot to be inclusive of the viewer, as I think it helps you get to know more about the home owner and their family.
I went into my little sisters room, and decided to use her as a muse again, so I took photographs of her personal things to suggest more bout who she is.
